What the funding covers

A full tuition-fee waiver for the master's — winners pay only a non-refundable administrative fee of about €170.
For the highest-ranked winners, an additional gross allowance of up to €10,000 a year (the 2026–27 call had three tiers: €10,000, €8,000, or the waiver alone).
Separately, students with limited family income can apply for the regional DSU scholarship, which is based on economic need rather than merit.

International applicants to a first-year English-taught Master of Science programme.
You must apply for admission — and pay the application fee — during the Early Bird window (1 October to 1 December for the 2026–27 call).
Selection is based on your previous education, how well it matches the programme, and your GPA and academic achievements (plus a portfolio where the programme asks for one).
An English-language certificate is required, with a later deadline (21 February for the 2026–27 call).

Pick up to the permitted number of English-taught MSc programmes on Polimi's online application system.
Submit your admission application during the Early Bird window, before 1 December, and pay the application fee.
Upload your English certificate by the February deadline if you did not include it at first.
Results for admission and scholarships are released between April and July.

There is no separate scholarship form: applying in the Early Bird window is what makes you eligible. Later admission rounds are not considered.
Most awards are the tuition waiver alone — budget for Milan's high living costs unless you win a cash tier.
Check the call for the new academic year as soon as it is published; tiers and amounts can change.
